Customers Frustrated that Grocers Don't Offer More Local Food [Infographic]
Local food is one of the hottest trends in grocery, griven in part by covid, yet supermarkets don’t deliver.

We surveyed 1,000 consumers across the United States to assess their attitudes toward grocery shopping as we move into fall and winter of 2020 with COVID-19 cases on the rise again. What emerged is a picture of a shopper who:
Is frustrated that grocery stores don’t do a better job of supplying local food, and supporting the farmers in the community.
Places more value than ever on local food, which they consider to be the freshest, safest, and most nutritious food available.
Is concerned about shopping in the grocery store in the coming months as colder weather keeps people indoors and potentially allows the virus to surge.
