My name is Salimata Bangoura and I am the founder of Dugu Inc., a West African fusion food and beverage company that specializes in locally handcrafted seasonal foods and ginger drinks. I have an MBA from Babson College that focused on starting and growing this company. I am extremely passionate about connecting people through healthy food that breaks down stereotypical barriers and expectations of what African cuisine is and should be. I am currently doing this with Yamacu, a line of cold pressed ginger drinks that can be enjoyed hot or cold, mixed or as is. It adds flavor and body to anything it is mixed with such as seltzer, kombucha or spirits and it is high in vitamins and has great digestive health qualities.
