Our company's name comes from Sleeping Giant State Park (Hamden, CT), one of Connecticut's hidden green gems. This mountainous beauty of a park is full of hiking trails, a stone tower, and streams - the namesake comes from the ridge line, which resembles a giant human lying down. The variety of terrain makes it accessible to hikers of all ages and abilities. It holds a special place in the heart of our founder, Jesse, who grew up frequenting the park and making memories as a young child, and now brings his own children hiking there often.
